Yannis Dalkidis- Hello my name is Yannis Dalkidis and I live in Athens Greece.I have been to Japan 4 times and I speak a bit of Japanese.I have been in Digmeout art & dinner twice. It is my kind of place.Great food and funky art. When I am in Osaka I live in Asahi Plaza capsule hotel so it is very close.I love Osaka and my favorite place is Shin-Saibashi and of course Amemura.I want to draw manga in japan but for someone like me it is almost impossible...Because Japan has so many great artists and I feel like small fish in the big ocean. My own country doesn't care about comics so here is no good either. But I have no complains really, life is good.I understand I am not as good as most people here but please 4649 onegaishimasu.
Thank you Taniguchi-san
Pleased to meet you mr. Taniguchi and congratulations on the great place you have there.I can't wait to visit again.
I am used to capsules by now and Asahi plaza is honestly the best capsule hotel I've been in (from hiroshima all the way to Sapporo) and the cheapest.
These are paintings with extra materials like plywood for the mountain and sea or copper for the sun and alluminium for the moon. They take a really long time to make so I rarely make them.
I am hoping I can get there again this summer, cofee sounds great.
P.S:I can't find out how to reply to your comment in the comment section so I put it in news, sorry.

- This is Taniguchi, the director of Digmeout. Thanks for participating in this from Greece and visiting digmeoutART&DINER during your stay. How was Asahi Plaza? Wasn't it too small?
Looking at your works I could clearly tell that you like Japanese comics. I like the first 3 works on your page. They look interesting. When you are visiting Japan again please let me know. We should have some coffee or something. - 2011/09/28
