Young art, from Osaka to world. FM802's annual young art exhibition began
in 1994 and this year's exhibition is our 10th anniversary show. We've
renewed the title to, "FUNKY802 digmeout EXHIBITION 2005" and
it will be held from March 19th (sat) to April 3rd (sun) at 2 different
locations, Minamisenba's drapeau exhibition space and Minami Horie's digmeout
CAFE.
Before this exhibition, we had an audition which gathered, 618 artists
Who found out about this audition by magazine ad, radio commercial, flyer
etc. We judged all the art by originality, sensibility, impact on streets
and art scene, and future prospect. As a result, 13 artists were chosen
and their art will be introduced in various media including, exhibition,
magazines like "Pia", "L-Magazine". Also they will
be working as FM802's visual artist as well as digmeout artist to take
on various art projects like collaboration with corporations.
From this exhibition, I hope that you will feel the breath of new talent,
who's responsible for NEXT art scene.
